Info
Marillion will be performing on 29 November 2026 at Le Radiant - Bellevue in Caluire-et-Cuire. Formed in late 1970s England, the band developed a progressive rock language that blends seventies heritage with a more direct songwriting approach. Initially driven by Fish’s theatrical vocals, they reinvented themselves in the late 1980s with Steve Hogarth, opening a more introspective and atmospheric vein while retaining their affinity for extended formats.
On stage, the steady lineup of Steve Rothery, Mark Kelly, Pete Trewavas, Ian Mosley and Hogarth unfolds pieces that take their time, between luminous guitars, expansive keyboards and light-and-shadow dynamics. The set draws on landmark chapters such as Script for a Jester’s Tear, Misplaced Childhood and Brave, and intersects with more recent material from Marbles, F E A R and An Hour Before It’s Dark. Between elongated instrumental passages, slow-building climaxes and suspended choruses, the concert traces a thread where progressive rock meets atmospheric pop and more contemporary textures. The band’s narrative songwriting, attention to detail and the balance between emotion and sonic architecture are given full expression here.
