Matteo Mancuso

Introduced to music at a very early age by his father Vincenzo, Matteo Mancuso has established himself as a guitarist with a distinctive style. His rendition of “The Chicken” with the trio SNIPS brought him widespread recognition, paving the way for strong collaborations, including a partnership with Yamaha Guitars since 2019. He has since appeared on international stages such as the NAMM Show in Los Angeles and the Young Guitar Festival in Bangkok, as well as giving masterclasses and touring in Russia, Italy and across Europe. In 2020 he formed a new trio and devoted himself to his own compositions, which culminated in The Journey, his first solo album released on 21 July 2023. The record showcases precise, melodic writing and a sound that moves between jazz, rock and fusion, and launched a run of more than 50 concerts in the United States and Europe with a refreshed lineup. On 5 May 2026 at L’Alhambra in Paris, Matteo Mancuso will present this repertoire on stage, mixing highlights from The Journey with new pieces, delivered with the clear energy and attention to detail that have defined his reputation.
