Nadau

Nadau, an Occitan group from the Pyrenees, carries a song that is both rooted and alive. With Joan de Nadau’s voice and stories, the Occitan lyrics tell of the villages, the seasons, the family ties—everything that shapes daily life and the landscape of the region. The words go straight to the essential, with a musicality that preserves the scent of the lanes and the flavour of evening gatherings.

On stage, the ensemble brings together guitar, violin and bagpipes. The melodies take their time, rise, then give way to the voices, which unfold simple, precise images.
