Yoa

Yoa sketches a pop sound threaded with electro pulses, balancing confession and blunt directness. A songwriter, composer and performer, she writes candidly about battered friendships, sexual violence, mental health, love and heteronormativity. Her debut album, La Favorite, released on 31 January 2025, pairs nervy productions with cold‑lit ballads, featuring a direct vocal delivery and precise songwriting attentive to the details of everyday life.

Honoured at the 2025 Victoires de la Musique as “Révélation scène” (Breakthrough Live Act), Yoa is following a clear trajectory: songs that tackle reality head‑on and a sound that blends nocturnal synths, tight rhythms and enveloping bass lines. On stage she lets her pieces breathe, from whisper to surge, with a restrained, immediate presence.
