Pierre De Maere

On February 5, 2027, Pierre de Maere takes the stage at Le Bikini in Ramonville-Saint-Agne. A Belgian singer-songwriter who worked in photography before returning to music, he has, in a few years, shaped a French-language pop that intertwines chanson and electropop, carried by direct writing and melodies in the foreground. First noticed with “Potins absurdes,” “Regrets” and “Menteur,” he established himself in 2021 with “Un jour, je marierai un ange,” before releasing the EP “Un jour, je” in 2022—conceived with his brother Xavier de Maere and produced with Valentin Marceau—and then his first album, “Regarde-moi,” in 2023. Since then he has expanded his repertoire with “Mercredi” and appeared in 2024 on a cover of “These Walls” in collaboration with Dua Lipa.

On stage, Pierre de Maere arranges his songs in an interplay of synths, electro pulses and clear vocal lines, giving as much attention to sound as to imagery. His pop, both immediate and precise, foregrounds candid lyrics and choruses that stick, while leaving room for a live energy that reshapes the song’s contours. Le Bikini becomes the setting for a journey through his standout tracks, presented in a format conceived for the concert—clean and effective.
