Info
The Lightning Seeds bring their Greatest Hits Tour to Cambridge Junction in Cambridge on November 5, 2027, with Ian Broudie at the center of the action. Born as a near-solo studio project in late-80s Liverpool, the band built its identity on crisp, melodic pop-rock that sits between indie pop, Britpop and alternative rock: tight songwriting, bright guitars, and choruses that stick without trying too hard.
This show leans into the catalogue that shaped their 90s run, from the early rush of Cloudcuckooland through the bigger, full-band lift of Jollification and beyond. Expect the set to circle around the singles that made them staples on the UK circuit, with that polished, songwriter-led sound that’s always been Broudie’s signature. And yes, their cultural curveball moment is part of the story too: Three Lions, the unlikely pop anthem that escaped the charts and became football folklore. A night for anyone who wants their pop smart, direct, and built to sing along to.
