Hurula comes to Göta Lejon in Stockholm on December 26 with a two-part concert: first intimate and stripped-down, then with full electric charge. It’s a setup that suits his songs perfectly, where the melodies often carry as much as the words and where the dynamics can shift from whispered to burning without losing the nerve.
With roots in Swedish punk and hardcore, Hurula has built a solo project that lands in Swedish rock with melodic punk and post-punk at its core, taut guitars and lyrics that feel right under the skin. After the album Existens and the new track 'December Come Again' - a winter song colored by memories, silence, and recurrences - the evening becomes a chance to hear how the new material interlocks with the older: songs that swing between dark, everyday realism and conciliatory, but always with the same restless drive. Here it's not about grand gestures, but about capturing the feeling and keeping it there.
