Info
On October 9, 2027 at Leeds Arena in Leeds, André Rieu brings his trademark way of making classical music feel close, lively, and shared. Violin in hand, he moves between soloist and conductor, leading the Johann Strauss Orchestra he founded in 1987, with a programme built around the Viennese waltz and the kind of “light” repertoire that sticks in your head. Expect Strauss-flavoured arrangements, operetta excerpts, film themes, popular melodies, and accessible classical pieces, all stitched together with a strong sense of rhythm and a taste for big, singable tunes. Rieu’s shows are also about the collective energy: musicians showcased as a real band, guest voices often woven into the set, and plenty of moments designed for audience connection. A night that treats the concert hall like a dance floor, without dropping the musical standards.
