Info
CHVRCHES bring their Glasgow-bred synthpop to the Music Hall in Aberdeen on April 26, 2027. Built around Lauren Mayberry’s clear, front-and-center vocals, the trio’s sound sits where electropop hooks meet indietronica sheen and a slightly darker, indie-pop tension. Expect the kind of tight choruses and bright textures that first put them on the map with early tracks like “The Mother We Share” and “Lies”, then expanded across albums from The Bones of What You Believe to Every Open Eye, before leaning into a more pop-facing edge on Love Is Dead.
More recently, Screen Violence pushed the mood into sharper shadows, blending alternative pop with electronic rock impulses, without losing that instant, melodic snap. Live, the show plays on the band’s internal balance: Mayberry driving the songs, Iain Cook shaping the synth architecture, and Martin Doherty stepping in with vocal and melodic counterpoints. A set that moves between big, clean energy and late-night intensity, made for a room that likes its pop loud and its electronics precise.
