Info
On 7 April 2027 at The Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh, Café del Mundo bring “Guitarize the World” to the stage with the kind of duo playing that feels like a live conversation. Jan Pascal and Alexander Kilian lock into a tight back-and-forth: quick reactions, crisp unison moments, then sudden divergences where rhythm and melody chase each other, overlap, and snap back into place.
Rooted in contemporary flamenco, their sound stays open and curious. You’ll catch hints of world music, jazz-inflected phrasing, and classical colours, with room for improvisation and sharp dynamic turns. The set mixes original compositions with reworked themes, always carried by that flamenco pulse and a clear taste for contrast. In a concert hall, the two-guitar format lands direct and close-up: all focus on precision, groove, and the chemistry that happens when two players push and pull in real time.
