Info
Texas come back home for a Glasgow date, playing OVO Hydro on October 21, 2027. Formed in the city back in 1986 around Sharleen Spiteri, Johnny McElhone, Stuart Kerr and Ally McErlaine, the band built its identity on that pop-rock sweet spot where big guitars meet soulful hooks.
Expect a set that moves through the eras: early breakthroughs like “I Don’t Want a Lover” from Southside, the early-90s momentum of Mothers Heaven and Ricks Road, then the late-90s peak with White on Blonde and The Hush, when Texas turned stadium-ready choruses into a signature. After the Red Book chapter and a pause, the group’s return with The Conversation confirmed they weren’t just a nostalgia act. In Glasgow, this show is a chance to hear those songs where they belong: loud, warm, and straight to the point.
