Info
On 16 April 2027, Charlotte Sands brings her pop-punk/alt-pop rush to Slay Glasgow. The Nashville-based singer-songwriter (originally from the Boston area) sits right where crunchy guitars meet clean, modern pop production: big melodic hooks, a clear voice up front, and choruses built to be shouted back.
Her songs lean into identity, relationships, and that familiar feeling of being slightly out of step, switching between stage-ready uptempo cuts and more introspective ballads. She first broke through in the early 2020s with “Dress,” a track sparked by debates around gender norms and appearance, and she’s kept expanding her sound since then, sliding from emo-pop to more electronic textures without losing that direct, punchy writing. Expect a set that moves fast, hits hard, and still leaves room for the quieter moments.
