Info
CHVRCHES come back to their hometown for a live set at O2 Academy Glasgow on April 23, 2027, bringing that sharp Glasgow synthpop mix where electropop hooks meet indie tension. Built around Lauren Mayberry’s clear, upfront vocals, the trio’s songs hit with tight choruses and bright electronic textures, then take a darker turn when the mood calls for it. Expect a set that can move from early fan staples like “The Mother We Share” and “Lies” to the more pop-forward punch of the Love Is Dead era, without skipping the shadowier edge they leaned into on Screen Violence. Onstage, it’s all about the balance: Iain Cook’s detailed arrangements, Martin Doherty’s melodic counterpoints, and a sound that can switch from sleek to bruised in the space of a beat.
