Info
Ocean Grove lands in Copenhagen on March 13, 2027 at Beta2300 with their distinctive blend of nu-metal, hardcore and grunge, wrapped in a modern electronic aesthetic. The band hails from Melbourne's suburbs and revolves around lead vocalist Dale Tanner and drummer/producer Sam Bassal, but the sound feels more like a collective than a fixed lineup: heavy grooves, tight rhythms and sharp shifts between aggression and melodic hooks.
Live they pull the threads back to the heaviness of the 90s, but they also throw in pop, hip-hop moments and alternative rock in the same set, just as one knows from The Rhapsody Tapes and the more colorful expansions on Flip Phone Fantasy and Up In The Air Forever. It's 'Odd World Music' in practice: brutal, catchy and always on the way to somewhere new.
