Info
Chanpan will come to Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld in Cologne on March 9, 2027, with the autogratis World Tour, bringing exactly the energy they’ve learned on the streets of New York. Centered around Grace Dumdaw and the twin brothers Lance and Matthew Tran, the project in Chinatown has grown into a street-music setup — this direct proximity to the audience remains embedded in the songs to this day.
Musically, indie rock meets punk drive and a palpable riot grrrl impulse: crisp guitars, sharp edges, rapid shifts between pressure and melody. On stage, it doesn’t feel like nostalgia, but like a focused, unvarnished statement. Whoever experiences Chanpan live gets a trio that comes from the independent New York scene and has sharpened its stance right there—intense, compact, and without detours.
