Info
On March 16, 2027, Blanco White will perform at Musis Arnhem for a set that lets folk, intimate pop, and neofolk blend smoothly. The project is fronted by Josh Edwards from London, but you can immediately hear that his writing and playing style was shaped outside the British comfort zone. He studied flamenco guitar in Cádiz and later delved into traditional Andean music in Bolivia, with the charango adding an extra color to his palette. Live, this translates into acoustic guitars, subtle flamenco motifs, and Latin American timbres, carried by vocals in English and melodies that creep into the mind rather than shout for attention.
Those who have followed him since The Wind Rose EP, Colder Heavens, or the Nocturne EP will instantly recognize that hybrid signature, but the emphasis is on songs that breathe. With the debut album On the Other Side (2020) and later Time Can Prove You Wrong and Tarifa (both 2023), he moved toward richer arrangements without losing the intimacy. In Arnhem, all of this comes together: sober, precise, and designed to feel intimate.
