Info
Now Wave brings Shygirl to Manchester Academy in Manchester on March 19, 2027, for a set built to move between sweat and sharp songwriting without sticking to one lane. Coming out of South London’s collision of rap, club music and experimental pop, she switches easily from half-sung hooks to spoken lines and quick-fire rap, riding tense, body-focused productions that nod to grime, electronic and deconstructed club.
From early cuts like “Want More” and the Nuxxe era to the more melodic edges of Alias, Shygirl has kept that push-pull between abrasion and pop clarity. Live, you can expect a show that leans into the club pressure at the core of Nymph and its follow-ups, including the more dancefloor-driven Club Shy: bass-forward, precise, and built for people who like their pop with some bite.
