Info
On May 17, 2027, Eric Clapton brings his long-running blues-rock story to bp pulse LIVE in the United Kingdom. From the early days on the British scene to his years shaping the sound of bands like The Yardbirds and John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, Clapton built a reputation on phrasing, tone, and that instinct for stretching a song without losing its spine.
This show is a chance to hear how he moves between electric bite and acoustic restraint, switching gears from blues standards to songs that lean more pop-rock while staying rooted in the blues. Expect a set that can nod to the power-trio era of Cream, the more wide-open jamming spirit of Blind Faith, and the emotional weight of Derek and the Dominos, alongside highlights from a solo run that spans 461 Ocean Boulevard, Slowhand, and the stripped-back approach of Unplugged. A night for people who like their guitar playing direct, voiced, and built on tradition rather than tricks.
