Info
On March 16, 2027, Kula Shaker land at SWG3 Glasgow to mark the 30th anniversary of K, the debut that put them on the UK map in the mid-90s. Expect a set built around that record’s psychedelic rock drive, where crunchy guitars sit naturally next to Indian textures and spiritual motifs. Songs like “Hey Dude” and “Govinda” are the obvious touchstones, but the point is bigger than a nostalgia lap: it’s the band’s signature blend of groove, trancey riffs and Eastern instrumentation that makes this night click. With special guests warming things up, it’s a chance to catch Kula Shaker in full ritual mode, celebrating an album that still sounds like its own strange little world.
