Info
On April 14, 2027, Orbital land at O2 Academy Liverpool for a night built on long-form electronic storytelling and the kind of rave energy that doesn’t fade when it leaves the club. Formed around brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll at the tail end of the UK acid house explosion, the Kent duo shaped a signature sound where techno drive, breakbeat grit and ambient space all pull in the same direction.
Expect tracks that take their time: melodies that loop, evolve and lock into heavy rhythms, made as much for close listening as for big-room impact. From the early breakthrough of “Chime” to the run of defining albums in the 90s, Orbital’s music has always leaned into momentum and atmosphere rather than quick peaks.
Live, that approach hits different: builds, detours, sudden drops into clarity, and a set that can slide from hypnotic to punishing without losing the thread. It’s Orbital doing what they do best, with Liverpool as the backdrop.
