Info
Orbital land in Belfast on April 10, 2027 at Limelight for a night built around the Hartnoll brothers’ signature way of making electronic music feel like a story. Coming out of late-80s UK rave culture, the duo have always pushed beyond straight techno, sliding between breakbeat pressure, ambient breathing space, and that more listenable edge of IDM where tracks evolve slowly and pay off over time.
Expect a set that treats the room like a moving timeline: long builds, melodic hooks that keep resurfacing, and rhythmic switches that pull you from head-down momentum to wide-open atmospheres. From the early breakthrough of “Chime” to the run of landmark records in the 90s, Orbital’s catalog was made for this kind of stage translation. Recent work and collaborations have kept their sound sharp, and their returns to touring have proved they still know how to turn club energy into a full-scale live experience.
