Info
Jonah Blacksmith is coming to Aalborg with a film concert, where the band's folk-rock is allowed to unfold in a format that approaches storytelling and atmosphere. The collective from Thy, with brothers Simon and Thomas Alstrup at the forefront and the family at its heart, is known for strong vocal harmonies and choruses that feel written for communal singing, without becoming polished. On stage, acoustic and electric textures meet in a direct, instantly recognizable expression, where the melodies carry as much as the energy.
The concert on February 19, 2027 at Aalborg Congress & Culture Center draws on a long catalogue of releases, from Northern Trail and the self-titled album to Brothers, the EP House On Fire and the newer Ages. Expect songs with expansive Nordic songwriting at the center, built for the band's collective drive and the tight, choir-like vocal that makes Jonah Blacksmith a live band you can feel in your bones.
