Info
On October 23, 2026, The Loft in Amsterdam presents a back-to-back set that places two current club sounds side by side: Sammy Virji and Mochakk, behind the decks together.
Sammy Virji hails from the UK garage scene, with that tight 2-step drive, springy basslines and short vocal chops that immediately get you moving. His sets effortlessly switch between speed garage, bassline and house with an R&B tint, always built on tempo and timing.
Mochakk (Pedro Maia) takes the whole thing in a different direction with percussive house and tech-house, funky grooves and a rhythmic build that can simmer for a long time before it bursts open. With influences from techno, hip-hop and Latin rhythms, he keeps things playful and physical. Together it becomes an energetic ping-pong between garage urgency and sunny, driving house.
