Over the past ten years, the Leipzig-based DJ and producer Ninze has developed and established a distinctive, slowed-down style lying between soft and dreamy deep house. In addition to his solo performances, he gained international recognition through live collaborations such as Ninze & Okaxy and Wide Awake, helping to shape the subgenre Ketapop.
After several vinyl releases of his various collaborations on Laut & Luise, his debut album Comode 1 was released in 2019 on Feines Tier. Even in his forthcoming productions, it already shows that his sound continues to evolve without losing its signature core.
With his live sets, Ninze has already traveled to numerous parts of the world. The musical impressions from several US tours, his appearances at festivals such as Fusion and AfrikaBurn, as well as in the clubs of São Paulo, Beirut, Tbilisi, and of course Berlin, are clearly audible in his live performances and productions.

Thus the prehistoric cave-dwellers of the Orient once named that mystical waterfall, at whose source they gathered every seventh night to drift into the eternal hunting grounds to the hypnotic rhythms of the hide drum and the shaman’s rattle.
Of course, that’s not true. Niju simply stirs the imagination.
While ordinary club sets can sometimes feel like a rough obstacle course for the ear, Niju guides you into a musical high-wire act. Floating and nimble, you move through the undergrowth, ever onward toward that mystical waterfall of boundless creativity.
His sound could be described as a blend of impulsive deep house, variations of tech house, and influences from downtempo. His performances continually adapt to the moment, the venue, and the audience.
Niju’s productions are an expression of his love for music and his passion for detail. His devotion to the art itself, free from expectations, shapes his work.
