Info
Jacaranda Records invites Friendly Fires to bring their new album Dig Deeper to life on stage at XOYO Birmingham on January 23, 2027. Expect the trio’s trademark push-and-pull between live-band grit and club-ready shine: tight, elastic rhythms, basslines built to move, bright guitar lines and Ed Macfarlane’s agile vocals sitting right on the edge between indie pop and the dancefloor.
Formed in St Albans, Friendly Fires have always worked that sweet spot where indietronica, dance-punk and nu-disco meet pop songwriting, with just enough funk and haze to keep things restless. This launch show is the perfect format for them: new material upfront, played with the tension and energy that made their early releases hit hard, and the sleek confidence they sharpened across albums like Friendly Fires, Pala and Inflorescent.
