Info
On 29 May 2027, Kolinga lands at Kings Place in London for an exclusive show built around the French-Congolese band’s signature fusion. Led by singer and songwriter Rébecca M’Boungou, the project moves freely between contemporary grooves, jazz colours and Bantu roots, with a sound that’s both tight and open, made for bodies as much as for listening.
This performance follows the release of Kolinga’s new album on Underdog Records (January 2027), their first studio record since Legacy (2022). On stage, that new material is expected to sit alongside earlier songs, carried by M’Boungou’s direct voice and the band’s taste for rhythm, space and collective momentum. Kolinga also puts storytelling at the centre: songs that bring forward forgotten or muted voices, especially those of women and ancestors, and a way of singing that feels like a link between worlds rather than a simple setlist.
