Carøe’s Crooner Christmas m. julemiddag

Carøe's Crooner Christmas is a Christmas concert where the classic crooner tradition meets musical craftsmanship, delivered with style, warmth, and a natural elegance that frames the American Christmas tradition, one that many know and love.

Michael Carøe is deeply rooted in tradition, with a contemporary ease and a musicality that fills the room. His voice and timing evoke American Christmas recordings, where the music glows, the tempo is calm, and the mood is both expansive and intimate at once. Here there is room for iconic Christmas classics and timeless crooner numbers, interpreted with respect, swing and personality.

Behind Carøe stands Rasmus Bøgelund & The Jazz Pioneers, an orchestra with musical craft as its centerpiece and tradition as its foundation. The music rests on the American musical tradition, with references to Duke Ellington's sonic world and The Jazz Messengers' energy and drive. The arrangements are elegant and airy, delivered by Rasmus's brother, arranger Nikolai Bøgelund. The interplay is lively, and groove and swing are central.

The mood is tangible and evocative: you can feel the warmth, the calm, and the anticipation. It is the kind of Christmas you associate with American holiday specials, with beautifully decorated trees, dimmed lights, a glass in hand and music that makes time slow down. A Christmas where tradition and quality go hand in hand, and where the music carries the experience.

Carøe's Crooner Christmas is a Christmas concert for an audience that desires more than just a concert, an evening when you step into a familiar world of style, presence and classic Christmas glow.
