Info
Lisa Ekdahl will come to Scalateatern in Karlstad on February 20, 2027, in the midst of a spring tour that coincides with the release of the new album Du har alltid mej. After more than 30 years as a distinctive voice in Swedish music, she continues to move freely between the ballad tradition, acoustic pop, and her own restrained jazz sensibility that has followed her since the 1990s.
On stage you can expect a concert that alternates between new material and songs from a catalog that stretches from her debut breakthrough in 1994 and onward, sometimes in Swedish, sometimes with her more jazzy, English-language side in the mix. With her soft address and intimate phrasing, she places the melodies at the center and builds the evening on presence, lyrics, and small nuances rather than grand gestures. A performance for those who want to hear an artist test new material without letting go of what has made her Lisa Ekdahl.
