Info
Basslayerz lands at O2 Academy Oxford in Oxford on December 5, 2026, bringing their full trio setup built for fast, loud, no-nonsense drum and bass. Formed by longtime friends DJ Slipz, MC Spyda and MC Blu Bomma, the Nottingham crew works around a simple idea: heavy basslines, rapid-fire drums and two MCs driving the room with call-and-response energy.
On stage, Slipz locks the set into jump-up pressure while Spyda and Blu Bomma keep it moving with constant mic work, switching between hype, hooks and crowd control. The project grew out of UK sound system culture and the club-festival circuit, so the show leans on interaction as much as the tracks themselves. Expect a run through their singles and collabs, shaped by the same scene they’ve crossed with names like Hedex, Sigma, Turno and Serum: quick builds, big drops, and momentum that doesn’t really let up.
