Info
Florence Road hit The Palais in Nottingham on May 22, 2027, bringing their tight indie-rock rush onstage. The Bray (County Wicklow) quartet — Lily Aron, Emma Brandon, Ailbhe Barry and Hannah Kelly — write from that in-between age where everything feels a bit too loud: anxiety, mixed signals, late-night clarity, and the messy contradictions of early adulthood. Their songs lean into tension without losing the hook, sliding between vulnerable lines and sharper, grungier edges with flashes of alt-pop.
Built on a real-life friendship, the band’s sound moves as a unit: guitars that bite, melodies that stick, and a front presence that keeps things direct rather than polished. Expect material from their 2025 debut mixtape Fall Back, plus tracks like “Heavy” and “Caterpillar”, where softness and abrasion trade places in the same breath. A show for anyone who likes their indie with feeling and a bit of friction.
