Info
Boundaries bring their hard-hitting metalcore to XOYO Birmingham on April 6, 2027. Hailing from Hartford, Connecticut, the band sits right at the crossroads of metalcore and metallic hardcore, with tight, dissonant riffing, abrupt rhythmic shifts, and breakdowns built to snap the room in two. Since the mid-2010s they’ve been sharpening a direct, compact attack, driven by relentless screamed vocals and lyrics that dig into vulnerability, power dynamics, and psychological pressure.
Their trajectory tells the story of a sound getting broader without losing any impact: from the blunt force of Hartford County Misery to the more atmospheric edges of My Body In Bloom, then the bigger structures and melodic flashes of Your Receding Warmth. More recently, Burying Brightness leaned into contrast, slipping slower, almost weightless passages between punishing heavy sections. Expect a set that moves fast, hits hard, and doesn’t waste time.
