Info
Carl Emil Petersen has for years been one of the most distinctive voices among Danish songwriters, and he has a special ability to render large emotions tangible. Many know him from his time as the frontman of Ulige Numre, but today he stands strong on his own with a solo universe, where strong melodies and poetic everyday stories go hand in hand.
For the concert at Kaløvig Badehotel in Skødstrup on February 6, 2027 you can expect an evening where the songs are allowed to speak at eye level. The repertoire centers on urban life, love, longing, and all the things one does not always get to say out loud, with tracks such as København, Frit land, Amager Forbrænding, and Finale På Et Filmset serving as apt signposts.
Live, Carl Emil Petersen is present and narrative, with a distinctive voice and a clear sense for the Danish language. It is the kind of concert where you listen to the lyrics and feel them, while the stories behind the songs slowly and quietly bind the evening together.
