Info
Award-winning blues-rock artist Laurence Jones comes to The Flowerpot with his debut solo acoustic On My Own tour, returning to his roots: pure blues.
The award-winning and critically acclaimed blues artist from Liverpool has opened for Ringo Starr, Sir Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter, Walter Trout and Status Quo. After joining Buddy Guy on stage to jam and experience the blues first hand, Buddy remarked, “He’s like a young Eric Clapton.”
Laurence has released his most personal album to date, his first solo acoustic album. On My Own is an intimate record that explores recent health struggles and takes him back to his roots where it all began. Despite his health challenges, Jones continues to add to a career that includes multiple British Blues Awards, over 50,000 albums sold worldwide and a number 1 album in the Official UK Jazz & Blues chart.
The opening act is Amy Eftekhari, a singer-songwriter from Nottingham and life partner of Laurence Jones. Amy is known for her emotional and honest approach to songwriting. Her music combines vulnerability with strength and authenticity. On her debut EP, All the Words, Amy Eftekhari brings these qualities together.
