Info
Palace bring their new chapter to Boiler Shop in Newcastle upon Tyne on May 8, 2027, touring around Ox, their fifth album and a clear statement of independence. Written on their own terms, the record leans into what the London band has always done best: supple guitar lines, melancholic atmosphere, and songs that grow through tension and release rather than big gestures.
On stage, Palace’s alternative rock sits between indie warmth and darker textures, with restrained vocals letting the instrumentation do the heavy lifting. Since forming in London in 2012, they’ve built a catalog that moves from early short releases into full-lengths like So Long Forever and Life After, then the more recent Shoals and Ultrasound, without losing that sense of shifting intensity. Expect a set that connects the new material with fan staples, designed to hit like a continuous arc rather than a greatest-hits run-through.
