Info
Royal Blood heads to AFAS Live in Amsterdam on February 26, 2027, with the sound of a duo that is back in full gear. Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher retreated to the studio in 2025, without a tight plan or deadline, to see how far they could go with two people, twelve notes, and a lot of brute energy. That resulted in Dead Company, a record they produced themselves and in which they bring everything back to the core: compact, direct, and made with the stage in mind.
Live, that translates to tight, bass-driven rock where the bass often takes the place of a guitar: dry, tense, and on the cusp of hard rock, garage, and stoner. With Ten Over Ten as a teaser—menacing and motor-driven, somewhere between desert rock and Motörhead—this show promises mainly tempo, endurance, and no detours. Expect new tracks alongside the material the band has built since their breakthrough in 2014 into a mainstay at major festivals and venues.
