Info
Jack Kays and His Band will play Nochtspeicher in Hamburg on April 16, 2027. The Cincinnati-born songwriter, born in 1998, moves somewhere between indie rock, hip-hop, pop-punk and emo: melodic vocals, rap phrasing, and nervous guitars collide with direct, sometimes taut hooks. Beginning in the SoundCloud corner, he has gradually pushed his sound into a clearer, more rock-oriented format—without losing the modern beats and the fast, unvarnished storytelling.
Live, the material takes on an even more powerful force: greater band pressure, more dynamics, more edge. In his songs, themes like mental health, isolation, and dependency intersect with catchy refrains and that lightly confessional way of writing that sounds more like a diary than a pose. For those who know tracks like "Morbid Mind" or releases such as "Mixed Emotions," "Caffeine," or the "Deadbeat!" discs, this is your chance to experience it all as a full-band set—raw, melodic and intimate.
