Info
Friendly Fires land at Rescue Rooms in Nottingham on January 22, 2027 for an album release show built around Dig Deeper. Expect the trio’s live sweet spot: tight, rhythmic songwriting that keeps one foot in indie rock and the other on the dancefloor, with sleek electronic textures woven into a full-band punch.
Led by Ed Macfarlane’s elastic vocals, Friendly Fires have always played with that friction between shimmering guitars, punchy basslines and club-ready momentum. From their early indietronica and dance-punk pulse to the more pop-leaning, sunlit edges they’ve explored over the years, their sets tend to move fast, locking into grooves and then opening up into big melodic hooks. This release performance is a chance to hear the new record’s tracks take shape live, alongside the kind of kinetic crowd-pleasers that made their name.
