Robbie Doherty (Northern Ireland) delivers a take on house that nods to the late 1990s: a blend of house, progressive and trance, but tight and modern in its production for the dancefloor. Expect rounded basslines, sturdy grooves and that British underground twist you hear in tracks like It’s My Beat and Work It.
Dennis Quin, an Amsterdam-based producer and DJ, offers a more direct, percussion-led house language. His sound draws heavily from 90s American house, with garage influences and occasionally an acid edge. In his sets it’s all about long, controlled buildups and a groove that keeps pushing.
With Kepler. and Boss Priester on the bill, the lineup gains extra color, in an evening that clearly targets functional, dancefloor-focused house.
