Few groups can boast such an impressive list of awards: the KaRAMELodikt Prize, the Monica Zetterlund Scholarship, Tage Danielsson's Friends Prize, the Taube Scholarship, and Zorn's Gold Medal.
Together, Orsa Spelmän, Tina Ahlin and Bengan Janson form a musical team. In spring 2026 the group toured the country, and now they are back with a new Sweden-wide tour in 2027, with a stop at Scalateatern in Karlstad.
With hearts deeply rooted in the Swedish musical heritage, they offer an evening filled with warmth, the joy of playing, and musical interplay. The repertoire is rich in classics and gems from collaborations with artists such as Benny Andersson, Hasse Alfredson, Sven-Bertil Taube, Robert Broberg, Allan Edwall, and Olle Adolphson.
