Info

Mercury Rev land in Glasgow at Queen Margaret Union on October 15, 2026, bringing that singular arc from abrasive early experiments to widescreen, orchestral psych-pop. Led by Jonathan Donahue and Grasshopper, they’ve always blurred the lines between shoegaze haze, noise-pop friction and psychedelic drift, shaping songs that can flip from dissonant rush to lullaby calm without warning. Expect a set that nods to the raw edges of Yerself Is Steam and Boces, the freer detours of See You on the Other Side, and the Americana-tinged intimacy that made Deserter’s Songs a turning point, all filtered through the band’s taste for cinematic texture and reworked arrangements. With more recent chapters like Snowflake Midnight and Born Horses in the background, this is less about nostalgia than about watching a band keep bending its own language live.

Mick Harvey opens with his trademark balance of tense atmospheres and careful orchestration. Known for his long run as an arranger, co-writer and producer within Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, he brings solo material that moves between dark rock, ballad and narrative, with a feel shaped by chanson and film music.

Amanda Acevedo completes the bill.
