Info
Quiet Light, the Texan-born artist Riya Mahesh's project, writes songs she herself calls “dream sequences”: pieces that feel like loose scenes from a dream, with a narrative hinted at rather than explained. Her sound moves in a liminal electropop with a Lynchian edge, where the songwriting takes the lead and blends with layers of ambient, electronic, and folk nods.
After a self-produced debut in 2020, she has honed that universe through works such as Blue Angel Sparkling Silver (2023) and Pure Hearts (2025). Now she arrives with her first release on True Panther: the mixtape Blue Angel Sparkling Silver 2, a more mature and enveloping set that, according to the author herself, is meant “for people who dream about how their life could be.” On October 29, 2026, she presents this new chapter at Sala Vesta in Madrid.
