Info
On November 8, 2026, at EngineRooms Southampton, Anna von Hausswolff brings her singular live world to the stage, where songwriting, experimentation and organ-driven compositions blur into one slow-burning set. Coming from Gothenburg’s independent scene, she’s built a sound that leans on an expressive voice and long, drone-like textures, moving between atmospheric pop, dark ambient, taut rock and a quasi-liturgical feel.
Her shows often stretch songs into extended, repetitive forms, letting tension build gradually, closer to post-rock patience and heavy, slow dynamics than standard verse-chorus. Expect the organ to take a central role, sometimes towering and physical, sometimes reduced to minimal motifs, with that same sense of ritual and space that runs through her work. Special guests round out the night, but the main draw is this immersive, carefully paced performance.
