On March 5, 2027, Bonobo will land at the Gashouder in Amsterdam with his live show around Distance In Static. Simon Green has long been renowned for that fine balance between warm, melodic electronic music and real musical details: downtempo that leans on trip-hop and nu-jazz, with acoustic layers that let a track breathe. Live, he elevates that to another dimension.
For this tour, Bonobo deliberately opts for a hybrid setup: a live band, guest vocalists, and a strong visual layer, with more room for electronic energy than in his earlier, jazzier live shows. Do not expect a DJ set, but a concert that toggles between rhythm and atmosphere, tightly built in tempo and dynamics. Distance In Static thus serves as the new starting point, with collaborations and timbres that further open up his sound and make the stage even wider.
