On November 24, 2026, at Trinity Centre in Bristol, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats bring their heavy rock universe built on doom weight, late-60s garage grit and a thick psychedelic haze. Driven by Kevin Starrs’ songwriting, the band leans into slow, distorted riffs, tight vocal harmonies and a cinematic mood that nods to horror soundtracks and B-movie tension. From the early cult buzz of Vol. 1 and Blood Lust to the more conceptual Mind Control, they’ve kept refining that dark narrative streak, later pushed through the noir shades of The Night Creeper and the scorched backdrop of Wasteland. Their more recent work, including Nell’ Ora Blu, doubles down on atmosphere and scene-setting, turning the set into something that feels as much like a story as a run of songs.
Also on the bill, The Wytches channel a tense, murky kind of rock where garage snap, surf unease, psychedelia and post-punk edges collide. Formed in 2011 and now rooted around Kristian Bell and Daniel Rumsey, they’ve built a sound of abrasive guitars, nervous rhythms and melodies that cut through the fog. From Annabel Dream Reader to later releases like Three Mile Ditch and Our Guest Can’t Be Named, they keep it compact, rough and slightly twisted, the perfect counterpoint to Uncle Acid’s doom-laced swirl.
