Info
On November 28, 2026, Soul Mama Stratford in London hosts Artful Dodger for a daytime session rooted in late-90s UK garage and its 2-step swing. Born from remix culture before breaking through with original productions, the project helped shape a sound where broken rhythms meet house energy and R&B hooks. Expect a set that leans into the tracks that defined their rise, from Re-Rewind to Movin’ Too Fast and Please Don’t Turn Me On, with that instantly recognizable mix of bass pressure, crisp drums, and singalong choruses.
Today, the Artful Dodger story continues on stage in a DJ-and-MC format with MC Alistair alongside DJ Dave Low, keeping the link to the UK garage scene alive across clubs and festivals. This London date is a chance to hear those classic anthems in the place that made them hit, and to catch the wider journey between garage and house that’s kept the name moving for decades.
