On March 14, 2027, at Manchester Academy in Manchester, Movements bring their California blend of post-hardcore and emo revival to the stage, balancing tension and melody in the same breath. Expect airy guitars, measured drums, and vocals that move between clean, emotional lines and a more spoken, close-to-the-bone delivery. Since forming in 2015, the band has sharpened that mix across releases like Feel Something, No Good Left to Give and RUCKUS!, gradually opening their sound toward alternative rock while keeping the introspective core. Their songs often circle anxiety, depression, and complicated relationships, turning personal pressure into something you can shout back in a room full of people.
Sharing the bill, Florida’s Gouge Away arrive with a harder edge, sitting between hardcore punk, post-hardcore and noise rock. Led by Christina Michelle’s vocals, they hit with abrasive guitars, tight rhythms, and sudden turns into slower, more melodic passages. From Dies to Burnt Sugar and the 2024 album Deep Sage, they’ve kept the language direct and confrontational, built for sweat, movement, and that split-second silence right before everything snaps back into place.
