Lambrini Girls bring their “No Refunds Tour” to Belfast on March 10, 2027, with the kind of punk set that doesn’t waste time. The Brighton duo, led by guitarist-vocalist Phoebe Lunny and bassist Lilly Macieira, build songs around sharp riffs, a forward bass sound and a chant-like vocal delivery made for sweaty rooms and quick singalongs. Rooted in the lineage of riot grrrl and queercore, their lyrics cut through questions of queer identity, gender dynamics and everyday social pressure, always with a blunt sense of humor rather than long speeches. Since breaking out through a run of DIY singles and the 2023 EP Love Is a Weapon, they’ve been touring hard across the UK and Europe, keeping a collective spirit with rotating drummers and a live approach that stays raw and immediate. At Empire Music Hall, expect short, direct tracks, fast turns, and a gig that hits and moves on.
