On 10 March 2027 at Electric Brixton in London, Movements bring their Southern California mix of post-hardcore, emo revival and alternative rock back to the UK, with the recent era of RUCKUS! colliding with the wider, more textured writing of Happier Now. Expect airy guitars, measured rhythms, and Patrick Miranda’s vocals moving between clean lines and near spoken-word tension, built for songs that hit as hard in a packed room as they do in headphones. The band’s catalog keeps a tight focus on anxiety, depression and messy relationships, and onstage that introspective edge turns into a set that breathes, swells and snaps back when you least expect it.
Opening the night, Florida’s Gouge Away set the tone with a hardcore punk core pushed through noise-rock abrasion and sudden dynamic shifts. Fronted by Christina Michelle, their sound stays direct and confrontational, but leaves space for slower, more melodic passages that make the next surge feel even heavier. With Deep Sage in the mix, their set should land somewhere between raw speed and controlled unease.
