Info
On 13 February 2027, The Tallest Man on Earth lands at EartH in London for a night built around Kristian Matsson’s sharp, restless take on modern folk. Nearly two decades into this solo project, he still works best with the essentials: voice up front, guitar in constant motion, songs that feel lived-in and direct.
This show sits in the wake of Just Beyond Endless Mountain, a record shaped by Matsson’s return to Dalarna in central Sweden and a fresh closeness to local traditions he once tried to leave behind. You can hear that shift in the way the melodies move and in the writing itself: not nostalgia, but a new angle on his own language.
Expect an intimate set where new material meets the older, stripped-down classics, with room for tension and release—like “Deliver Me from Trying,” driven by a more propulsive pulse while keeping his lyrics at the center of everything.
