Info
Bonobo lands in Bristol on February 19, 2027 at The Prospect Building for a night built around Simon Green’s sleek, detail-obsessed take on electronic music. Over the years he’s shaped a sound where downtempo and trip hop meet nu-jazz touches and warmer, acoustic colors: soft-edged rhythms, deep bass, and arrangements that can flip from intimate to dancefloor-ready without forcing it.
From the early albums that introduced his melodic approach to the broader, stage-minded writing of records like Migration and Fragments, Bonobo’s sets tend to move like a story, balancing groove, texture, and emotion. Expect a mix of hypnotic build-ups, crisp percussion, and those signature layers of strings, brass-like tones, and vocal moments that have marked his evolution.
Plus special guests round out the bill, keeping the night open-ended and ready for a few surprises.
